Mary received her 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training from Yoga University of Florida and is registered with Yoga Alliance. Having been a lifelong student of health and wellness, she attended her first yoga class many years ago, primarily to compliment her triathlon training. In recent years, however, she became in tune to the many wide range benefits of a regular yoga practice. “Yoga teaches you how to listen to and honor your body.” Through the practice of yoga, one develops the ability to gain control over the physical body, which in turn, assists one in developing control over the mind and the spirit. During yoga practice, Mary attempts to balance these three components with specific asanas (poses) and controlled meditative breathing. “We practice yoga for strength and flexibility, not just in body, but in mind and in spirit as well. Yoga enhances you!”
